Getting Started
<span>Smile Inventory</span> is a cloud-based retail management platform that combines three specialised apps — StoreSys (general retail), PhoneSys (phone shops), and LaptopSys (laptop & electronics shops). Subscribe to the app(s) you need and manage everything from one dashboard.
Click "Start Free Trial" and fill in your business details. You'll get immediate access to a 14-day free trial (no credit card required). After the trial you choose a plan and pay via Paystack.
No. Smile Inventory is fully web-based. It works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. No installation required.
Yes. You can subscribe to any combination of apps — StoreSys, PhoneSys, and/or LaptopSys — and they all share the same customer database, inventory, invoicing, and staff accounts.
Billing & Pricing
Subscriptions renew automatically each month (or year if you choose an annual plan) via Paystack. You can also pay manually by bank transfer — contact us and we'll raise an invoice.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Contact support and we'll adjust your subscription with prorated billing.
Yes. Annual plans are priced at roughly 2 months free compared to monthly billing. See the Pricing page for exact figures.
We accept card payments via Paystack, as well as direct bank transfer. Paystack supports Visa, Mastercard, Verve, and bank transfers.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. After that, subscriptions are non-refundable but you can cancel any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.
Data & Security
Yes. Every business's data is completely isolated by a unique tenant ID. No business can ever see another's data. Staff accounts are scoped to your business only.
Yes. You can export invoices, customer lists, stock reports, and transaction history to CSV/PDF from within the app at any time.
Data is stored in a secured database hosted in Nigeria. Uploaded images and files are stored on the same server with access controls in place.
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which you can export it. After 30 days it is permanently deleted.
Features & Apps
StoreSys covers general retail: item catalogue, stock management (batches, expiry, serial numbers), multi-location inventory, POS, invoicing, customer management, loyalty programme, transfers, reports, and more.
LaptopSys adds laptop/electronics tools: spec-based catalogue (processor, RAM, storage, GPU), serial number registry, repair & servicing, warranty tracking, and condition grading.
This depends on your plan tier. Starter plans include 3 users and 1 location. Professional plans include 10 users and 3 locations. Enterprise plans are unlimited. Check the Pricing page for details.
Smile Inventory requires an internet connection. We recommend a stable broadband connection for the POS. A basic mobile data connection is sufficient for other features.

Yes. All plans include access to the setup wizard which guides you through configuring your business in under 10 minutes. Enterprise customers get a dedicated onboarding session.
