1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LUCIA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Use of Service
You may use the service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must keep your login credentials secure.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a free trial period as stated at registration. During the trial:
- All selected modules are available at no charge.
- Your trial modules appear in your billing cart — you can add or remove modules at any time before converting to a paid plan.
- No payment method is required during the trial.
- When your trial ends, you must generate an invoice and pay to continue using the platform.
- If you do not convert before the trial expires, your account enters a grace period, after which access is suspended. Your data is retained for 30 days during suspension.
4. Subscription and Billing
Subscriptions are billed per module on the billing cycle you select — monthly, quarterly, or annual. Your first invoice covers the full upcoming billing period for all modules in your cart.
Module pricing: Your first module is billed at the standard rate. Each additional module added to the same account receives a multi-module discount as configured in the platform pricing at the time of subscription. Discounts are visible on your billing dashboard before generating an invoice.
5. Adding Modules
On an active (paid) subscription, you may add a new module at any time from your billing dashboard. When you add a module mid-cycle:
- A prorated charge is calculated for the remaining days of your current billing period.
- This prorated amount is included in your next invoice (not charged immediately).
- The new module is activated immediately and you can begin using it right away.
6. Removing Modules
You may remove a module at any time from your billing dashboard. When you remove a module before the end of your current billing cycle:
- The module is deactivated immediately.
- A prorated credit is calculated for the unused days remaining in the current billing period.
- This credit is stored against your account and automatically applied to your next invoice — it is not refunded to your payment method.
- If you re-add the module in the same or a future period, the credit reduces the amount due.
Important: Module removal credits are non-refundable to your original payment method. Credits can only be applied against future invoices on the same account.
7. Data and Privacy
We take your data seriously and do not sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app banner. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
